Proper belt size for cooper s

Does anybody know what napa belt size i need for a mini cooper s r53 with a 17% pulley and a 2% crank pulley? I used a 060539 which is what alta recommended but it seems it is way too long and i only have half a hole showing on my tensioner

Thanks

I know that i can do that, im asking here to see if anyone already knows what size works best so i dont have to be tearing the car apart and going through every single size there is until i find one, im tired of having to do that

Are you sure you have a +2%?
The reason I ask is a 17% reduction usually uses a 535 or 532 belt...you should need a slightly longer one.

Im sure i have a 2% increase in my crank pulley, its made by alta, its a lightweight crank pulley. Thats why i havent been able to figure out a proper belt size

Not all lightweight crank pulleys are oversized....some ARE stock diameter. From how the belt is fitting....it sounds like a stock sized one.
Could be a good thing IMO....19% are OK when driven like a granny...but pushed hard...they tend to have issues...fuel cutoffs...codes..etc...17% has proven to be fairly safe...good for most daily driver cars with occasional redlining.

i do have a 2% increase, the belt i have been running doesnt even show any tensioner holes and heres a pic of my crank pulley which i just took.

i have a friend that is running a 060532 on just a 17% pulley, and he is having no belt problems, he is also using the alta adjustable tensioner and again, no problems. i will be buying a 060535 and installing it tonight. im currently running a 060539 which is what everybody believes is the proper size for 19%

heres the pic of the crank pulley
