I just submitted my pump and fan receipts to my local Mini dealer. They took the information but seemed doubtful about my reimbursement if the parts that were used for replacement were not BMW parts. There is nothing in the letter that I received from Mini USA that mentions this. It only says that they will not pay labor costs if the work is done at a non-dealer shop. It is strange since the pump that I am asking reimbursement for is $200 less expensive than the BMW part. Has anyone else run into this?

 

The pump I installed is a rebuilt pump but should be a bmw part that was rebuilt. I installed it myself but have not put the paper work in to get the money back. Hope they will at least cover the cost of the pump.
