Anyone have feedback on the Valeo Clutch kit?

Is is it a cheap substitute to the OEM flywheel/ clutch set up? Is it a problem to go from a DMF to SMF?

Thanks for the feedback.

Basiclly it's not a "cheap" substitute but a "less expensive" option, Valeo actually makes the OEM clutch.
As far as DMF to SMF, if you're not talking about a performance application it mostly depends on your driving style & habits, the biggest benefit to a DMF is limiting vibration when it grabs, which in turn also translates to slipage, the dampening effects of the DMF help to lessen both by absorbing some of the shock of the "grab" which again helps the need to "slip" the clutch to get a smooth start, esp. w/ our fairly tall 1st gear.
So basiclly if you do a lot of low milage, stop-n-go driving, the DMF will have it's advantages, if not the difference will be minimal and easily able to be compensated for.

Also of the kits available which will change you to a SMF, the Valeo is the most forgiving, easiest to live with and will give you the closest to stock, feel.

(Again, all of this is in the context of a non performance/everyday application)
