Anyone have a P/S fluid flush DIY?
I have the front subframe removed so that I can install my new sway bay and CABs. After draining the P/S fluid reservoir (stuff looked nasty), I decided it would be a good idea to flush out the system and add new fluid.
I've seen DIYs before that are nothing more than draining the reservoir, refilling, running the engine, turning the wheel back and forth a few times and repeat several times. To me, this seems somewhat barbaric and ineffective.
Since the subframe is out and I have easy access to the rack, pump and hoses, is there a better (more thorough) way of flushing the system?
