Drive-N-Eat. June 23rd

June 23rd is our next adventure.
We will be meeting at the WAWA at the intersection of Rt70 and Rt 539 in Whitings, NJ. (10:00am, depart by 10:30 am) we will then motor down thru the woods and head to Smithville Village on Rt 9 in Galloway Township. Travel time should be about 1 hour.
There is plenty of shopping and a number of places to eat. Take your time and enjoy the afternoon. But save room for desert.

After everyone is done we will regroup and then head off through the woods again for desert. (Travel time approximately 45 minutes.)
It's not South Jersey if it doesn't include Frozen Custard!!
Royal Crown Homemade Ice Cream. (When I was a kid this was the place to stop on the way home from the shore. I swear the large cone had 10" of ice cream on it!!!)

For the most part down through the woods. Through Pasadena then Chatsworth, New Gretna. Then after Smithville up through Lower Bank, Green Bank them to Pleasant Mills. Or at least that's the plan.

If anyone is interested, we will be meeting for breakfast at Sandy's Cozy Corner on Rt 70 in Lakehurst, NJ. It is about 10 minutes away from the WaWa in Whitings.
Meet for breakfast at 8:30 am.
