Removing Heavy Overspray
Removing Heavy Overspray
To make a long story short, the previous owner of my car must have tried to do some touch up on my roof under the roof rack. The areas on either side of the roof are quite rough, and have trapped tons of dirt (leaving it dark colored and dirty on a white roof).
What would be the best way to get rid of this. I've tried some aggressive clay bar action on it, and had poor results. Would wet sanding it with 1500 or 2000 grit be a good idea or could compounding help?
Ideas would be greatly appreciated. It drives me nuts. I'll post pictures in the morning.

That's not just a matter of a nasty swirl or hologram or a two day old bird poop. I'd suggest Contacting Richard, AKA Octaneguy, and see can help you clean that mess up at showcardetailing.com
Well you have to scratch that area with some blade or any sharp thing.. then repaint that area which is effected. But before scratching the over painted area you have to highlight that with some tape.. because other wise you can destroy the all paint work. Good luck.
