Titles says it all. Took it in to check a leak. "there's no way it's the water pump" I thought. "Surely it needs to be something else like some hoses, since I replaced the same water pump and tstat housing at 32k miles".

Well they said it was the water pump. They replaced it. That means my car is not it's 3rd pump. Will I ever find some reliability with this car?

 

You sound so happy with your "no major issues" in your signature but 3 water pumps is pretty nuts. I would take it as a sign of things to come. That should never happen to any car unless the pump was installed improperly by the dealer.

It's a BMW. It will never be dead-8ss reliable
