Haha, lots of options for 4x100 fitment. Search Craiglist.. and VWVortex.

Just lookout for things like offset (ET), and hub size.

And make sure you check the type of wheel bolts/lug nuts it uses.. your current ones may not work. VW uses a ball seat base.

You may need hub rings.

I've been told they wouldn't fit will they and what size tire would I need?

After 15 years with a vw I now have none. And haven't looked back.. lol have an 03 cooper s with some mods.
