Wink What to worry about in a Countryman S?

Hi ya'll,

So I have an R56 which I love (do all my own maintenance, 60K miles etc...). However, we are moving soon and considering purchasing a countryman in our new city.

What things should I be on the look-out for as common problems with this vehicle? I'd be buying used - from an individual seller but under warranty. For example on a R56 the problem parts are either the need to keep a clean intake manifold or the high pressure fuel pump failing.

Thanks a bunch - just now doing research on this car...

It has some of the same issues as your R56 and you can add a clutch to the list with a Countryman.

ask the owners' dealer about the maintenance history. there are few "common" or "recall" maintenance but, if there are others outside from these repairs, i'll avoid from purchasing.....

what i gathered from this forum is that an owner have are either problem-free or plaqued countryman s.....

good luck.
