If you could build the "Ultimate"Mini!

I'm watching top gear, and got inspired to start this thread. So, what parts would you use to build the Ultimate Mini!

They don't even have to be very reasonable, let's assume we can do almost anything here

For me, the following:

3 lobed Roots supercharger with a clutch
Twin scroll variable geometry turbo
Exhaust bypass valve that kicks in at high rpm
4wd transmission
A 7th gear for super efficient highway cruising
Magnetic suspension
Dual intercoolers

That's all I can think of for now. What else can we add!

Astro, i think you have the ultimate Mini in your garage already. What are you cooking on that car of yours lately. I still have to look into your underpanel project.

Suspension upgrades are next! RSB, some poly bushing up front. Maybe some new struts... Figure these can't last much longer since I'm at the 95k mark.

Still trying to get a set of headers too. That and a GP IC should be about the last of the engine upgrades until I feel like spending $$ on a tune.

First, I'd do the usual brake / suspension / wheel / tire mods (BBK, Koni Yellow coilovers, drop 'er an inch, 17x7.5 light forged wheels, sticky rubber. That way it's prepped for more power. Then, hate to say it, I'd head over to the VW parts bin and swap in a 1.8T, been done and it's 300+ reliable HP. Cage, harnesses, and some comfy race seats and call it a day (or a few weeks)...
