So MOTD is here and im leaving tomorrow night to go up so I decided its a perfect time to have my paint buffed. They used a 3 stage system made for cars with good paint they were 2 very light coumpounds and a sealer then waxed after the third sealer stage.

In person the difference is amazing its night and day the paint looks alot deeper and almost like it is a darker green. It also looks alot smoother and feels like glass. He also gave me a full bottle of some really good quick detailer.
Check it out and let me know what you think
I posted one of the front end before and one after than the other is of the side after

The stripe was the previous owner I am thinking about removing it and having it actually painted on and a little thicker but if I remove it you will be able to tell a stripe used to go there so i am going to keep it until I figure something else out.

If you ever want to try doing it yourself try Meguiar's Ultra-Cut Compound M105 (DA polisher), removes deep scratches and imperfections. It starts out abrasive and within a few seconds becomes more fine the longer it's used, I applied wax right after using it. Works wonders for faded bumpers!

LOL, Braminator.

I think it's a definite improvement in the finish but I do agree with DAVESTER, the stripe seems a little weak.

I gotta quote from a guy who owns an auto detailing company, that my Miata would cost $175 to get the deep water spots and to recorrect the paint. He was at one of our tech days recently. I figured it couldn't be too hardto do, so I bought a porter cable DA polisher and went to work on my BRG with some Meg's 105 deep cut and 205 polish. It looks fantastic. I did my Miata, my Mini, and tomorrow, will hit my wife's RAV4. Definitely a learning curve involved, but I would rather do it myself than pay someone.
