Koni Yellows

My struts are on their way out (1 is already blown and leaking oil, others I am guessing are not far off) so I went ahead and bought some Konis. Currently running H&R sports (~1" drop) and was wondering if anyone has this setup (or something similar) and could tell me how your experience has been with it. What kind of difference should I notice coming from stock struts? Any tips for setup etc

Thanks

I have Yellows with NM. Replaced Sport Suspension at ~ 80K. Used rear adjustable lower control arms at the same time with a 19mm sway bar and fresh alignment and the difference was amazing for me.
I adjusted each shock just one click from out of the box stock. That setting seems to provide some pretty stiff dampening without jarring your teeth out. I was told to go as soft as they'd go, but that didn't seem right to me...ha! I wouldn't want to go much more firm for street use which is where I am as a daily driver. What else can I tell you? I think you'll like the set up.

Good to know. I've just never driven any aftermarket struts/coils on a car before so I wasn't really sure what to expect. All I know is that my current setup rides like crap and I needed to do something about it. You seem to be right about putting them at full soft or very close to it, that appears to be the general consensus from what I've read on other car forums. Hopefully going to install them in the next week or so. All I need to do now is make a ghetto socket for undoing the top nut lol
