This will be my first time to the dealership- service in Charlotte but have heard only good things about them.

Have a few (hopefully) minor issues with my '13 CMS.

Issues List
1. annoying rattle, vibration from the dashboard area- between driver side air vent to the small odometer.

2. when pressing the gas pedal a metallic clicking sound. Started about 2 weeks after I got the car.

3. Hard one to explain. Early morning startup- backed out of driveway and while moving forward heard a loud metallic screech coming from the rear passenger side tire area. after about 20 seconds a loud metallic pop. Drove the car several hundred miles afterwards and no issues.
- actually sounded like a cat was caught in the rear wheel well screamed real loud and finally popped loose- Sorry cat lovers only description that comes to mind.

 

First off- excellent, excellent service at Hendrix Mini in Charlotte. Mechanic worked with me and took me on a test drive to show me a couple things and didn't expect it but as a finale they washed the wheels...
Ok- Here is what came out of my first service.
1. The annoying rattle from my dash was actually my garage door opener attached to my window visor. With opener constant rattle---without- silence. Oh well all I could think to say was Oops.
2. The metallic click when pushing down on the gas peddle. Appears to be part of the hill stop feature. When on inclines the car does have the stop roll back feature and mechanic explained the click was part and parcel of that. although this happens whether on an incline or not I will roll with his explanation.
3. Last issue of a metallic thump from my rear end didn't appear to amount to anything. They checked it out, and found nothing out of order.
4. Checked and topped off all fluids
5. No bill---signed the invoice and rolled home (now I like that)
So overall very nice experience and based on that forst visit they come highly recommended.
