I have a classic cycle show here in less than a week and recently installed a hitch on my 2010 s. everything was going amazingly well up until I started to install the pulse trailer lighting harness. the directions from the manufacturer were pretty much a universal idea of what all cars should look like. It had no mini cooper details per wire color code. so I went one step further and bought a Chilton manual for the car. even in the Chilton manual there was little to no description on what wires went to what in the tail light assembly. called a service tech and even at that point was given minimal help. I pretty much need to figure out what wires go to the rear turn signals, brake light, and running. wire schematics are what I do 40+ hours a week so I've explored most of the options available to me. any help with this would be wonderful.

 

Have you tried poking the connections with a voltmeter when the various lights should be on?
