Random electronic beep/buzz from engine

So I just noticed this the other day and now that I'm aware of it, I hear it all the time.

If the car is not running, there is an electronic beep (like a buzzing beep) every couple of minutes. It's not very loud, but it's definitely coming from the engine bay, and it happens all the time. I have absolutely no clue what it could be. I do not have an alarm on it.

Anyone have any clue? It's driving me crazy not knowing!

New cars make noises becuase they never completely shut down. Some buzzing is normal after you shut it off, beeping I have never heard.

If it's a turbo then it can be the electric water pump for the turbo. It comes on after you shut off the engine to cool down the turbo.

No I have to unlock the car with the fob before getting in.

It's not normal cool downs or fans or anything like that. It's a deliberate electronic buzzer making a half second buzz every couple of minutes.

Take it in and report back, but my BMW's have been making noises after stopping the engine for years. Whirring type noises for a second or two every so often. My CM makes the same noises and I'm sure it's normal. These things have way more technology than our father's Oldsmobiles.

And way more technology than the space shuttles had at first!

I picked up mine yesterday and I noticed there is a soft buzzing sounds after everything shut off. I think it might need to let the engine completely cool down in order the sound go away. I also need to monitor it. I do have the Comfort Access and Alarm, but not sure it is related.
