just picked up a GP2! pic attached

what a awesome car!
i spoke to Way for the 1st time today. very helpful!

im a newbie to the mini world so i have a few questions.
im picking up a downpipe and intercooler from WMW. are any other bolt ons worth the money?
i need a reliable tuner in South Florida that i can trust with this car. any help would be appreciated? (i would love to have her tuned)

what is used for detailing the rubber around the wheel archs and front lip spoiler? it looks like it might fade pretty quick if out in the sun.

im taking the GP to the track next weekend, ill keep you guys posted.
Thank You

Congrats on the new GP. I cant answer your questions on mods or tuning but I can give a suggestion on what to use on your exterior black plastic. I use Adams VRT for the exterior black plastic on all of my cars. Its very durable and will last a few washes before you have to reapply it.

I don't know about Adams VRT, but Black Wow does wonders:

Also created and sold by a fellow MINI enthusiast/owner/detailer "Octaneguy" on this forum.

Congrats, and it was nice talking to you today too.

We carry black wow too, so we can ship it with your other parts if you want.

Tuners in south Florida? Why not PAW or RennTech? Lenny works at both. He seems to be making lots of Countryman owners happy.

Black Wow is crazy expensive and it's main intent is for restoring faded plastic back to new. Be proactive in protecting the plastic from fading so that you don't have use Black Wow. I recommend in using Ultima Tire & Trim Guard. You get 12oz for the same price of a 4oz bottle of Black Wow.

If money is no object, get the best exhaust money can buy!

If you want to sell your Factory JCW exhaust, I am interested. =D

I'll second the Black WOW as being the best. Lasts months, even in Pittsburgh where the weather is never ideal.

Bill3571, Is the paw tune a flash tune? I have been looking for a tune from evolve, etc and so far no luck. I need it to be a flash tune as I am in mexico city. lastly is the forge intercooler straight bolt on?.
congrats on the great mods! planning to folow your route, but not so sure the exhaust change is worth it.
regards
diego

Beautiful car on a beautiful track. Out here, we don't see grass at the track!

I managed to TT mine a couple weeks ago.
