Does this happen to anyone else ?

 

Not quite the same, but mine would not fully unfold. Happened often enough to be annoying, but not often enough for a one-item trip to the dealer. Finally had it looked at when Zaftig went in for recalls. They replaced a control module (everything on the MINI is a control module) and it seems to be working OK. Good luck!

 

Yes after multiple uses the side that I twist the **** towards get a little out of whack and needs readjustment. Others have also pointed this "trait" out. I hear the 2013's now have a switch to accomplish it no more twisting of the ****.

 

I think I have the same thing. Happens often enough to become annoying. Did yours unfold 90-95% of the way? When mine was in for routine service they said they couldn't reproduce it, so no fix

 

Both sides, eratically. Open about 1/3 of the way. Occasionally, I would not notice until I was underway and Zaftig would not allow it to be re-folded until I stopped.

 

My drivers side powered side mirror opens too far. I can correct the position by manually twisting the mirror about 35 degrees more into the closing direction. However the mirror is no longer in the stop position. It seems that the stop position has shifted.
We use the closing position often as we park in a narrow area. The car is a 08 Clubman.
