Looks like the seller has a few thousand Matchbox cars for sale from the backgrounds of the e-bay photo's....
A few folks did report that water to air intercoolers, when properly built, and installed were pretty good....they DID resist heatsoak for starts from a stop...
But sometimes the little radiator (usually a repurposed tranny cooler) sold with the kits was undersized....so driven kinda hard....was not so good sometimes...
Net was for the $$, the Air to air was best for most folks if you could deal with the heatsoak till you got to 5 MPH......
Heck...See the TINY added radiator Greek-drifters photo example....not much of a unit to get rid of heat....

I got it from Mini Mania, but they don't carrier it anymore. I have the e-mail address of the guy who made them for somewhere if you think you might need it let me know. By the way it's not cheap.

Was it worth it? Did you Dyno test it before and after?

I think so. No only after, but at the same time I put a head, cam, pulley and complete exhaust system so I couldn't tell you how much if any HP was gained.
Hope this helps. By the way it's an automatic.
