Tuning Tips

If there is a thread on this, feel free to point me that direction. I'm planning to mod up my r53 further with the following:

Pulley (already have)
JCW Injectors (want to have)
JCW CAI (already have)
Milltek Catback (want to have)

Is it worth it to get a tune? My local garage can do it for me, but where would I go to get the necessary profile (is that the right term?).

Any other thoughts on this set up?

Thanks!

IMO first have your local MINI dealer load the JCW software once all components are in. It's inexpensive ( 1 hr shop labor ) no dyno/time/pay needed, is totally reliable for a daily driver and then move on from there if "more" performance is desired.

would a JCW tune accomidate 17% pulley, CAI, cat-back, header & cam? or would the cam & header put it over boared and i would need a custom flash. assuming i would run the JCW injectors.

The JCW tune would accomidate those mods, but getting a custom tune would net better results with a cam.

Here is a thread on a JCW that received a custom tune. YMMV.
Cheers,
