$150 foglight retrofit w/picture link
Since I got my 2010 justa, one thing that has been on my mind are fog lights as I live 4 miles down a narrow twisting country road with steep drop-offs, deer, etc. The cost of buying and installing the commonly seen grill mounted light kits was more than I wanted to spend so I decided on retrofiting the factory fogs that were not included on my car. (A silly omission IMHO)
I started by removing the standard City Lights which are mounted to the bumper cover with three torx screws. This entails pulling back the fender liners and loosening the windshield washer bottle on the driver's side. I did not remove the tires or bumper as you can see in my photos here.

The OEM lights were about $125 a side but I found excellent aftermarket Depo replacements on eBay for a $115 delivered for the pair including bulbs. The existing City Light just plugs into the new mount but, I had to buy a male plug and wire the 35W halogen parking bulbs myself. The one thing I did differently than others was wire a trigger from the low beam passenger side lamp rather than a button in the cabin to turn them on. This way they come on whenever my low beams are on and didn't require the routing of wires in the cabin or mounting a switch.
Besides the Depo mounts the additional costs were a relay and some wire with the associated connectors, tape, plugs, wire cover, fuse holder etc. All of this can be found at the local auto supply store. The only thing additional I bought was a $15 set of 3/8" torx sockets from Amazon which are a great help, especially on the driver's side. I have a set of ramps that were also helpful.
This is an easy project that can be a little "fiddly" but not especially difficult and has greatly improved my night road vision. Also, there is a lot of good info. I gleaned from other posts and wiring diagrams. I also changed the standard bulbs that came with the mounts to PIAA Extreme White Plus bulbs which added about $75 to the project but, is still less than the factory list of $250 and much less than the amounts I saw quoted from dealers.

I did not consider it after reading about what was involved. I didn't want to mount the switch in the interior or have the car reprogrammed. Also, I couldn't see the advantage in being able to turn the lights on and off in the cabin vs. having them come on automatically with the low beams as that is the only time I would use/need them. If I had mounted the larger bumper type fogs, I would probably have mounted a switch in the cabin but, more $ than I needed to spend to get what I wanted.....improved night vision.
I mounted driving and fogs to the front of my justa and went with separate switches mounted to the left of the steering wheel..I would have liked to use a toggle in the center, but my understanding is that you need to replace the whole module and can't just add switches. Seemed like a PITA.
I did the same thing on my justa about 2yrs ago using used fog lights from eBay. Working thru the wheel well (even with the washer bottle in the way) sure beats having to remove the front bumper. I wired mine with an interior switch mounted on the left knee bolster.

Thanks to ammodave for his previous description as it gave me the roadmap for installing through the fender wells. I wasn't able to find used OEM lamps like he did at a reasonable price but the aftermarket ones work fine since they are mostly plastic.
As to how to turn them on, there are a lot of different approaches but the cost/value was not there for me to do an OEM switch install. It may be for others.
