15-20 minutes for work, 15-20 minutes for school, so on the road commuting for just under an hour every other day...

I timed it yesterday, using my cell-phones stopwatch. 16 minutes (give or take a few seconds)

10 minutes to the light rail transit station. Then another 15 to downtown Portland OR where I work. But since I work at 5am in the morning, I always am one of the first people in the transit station parking garage...so I am always parked right in front with the same white Honda civic on my passenger side every day. At least I don't have to worry about dings. I'd drive to my office, but $200+ a month for parking is just retarded when you have a free transit pass from work.

Hour and fifteen minutes in the morning, an hour going home. Commute route is 12-miles of two lane highway, 1/4 mile of four lane freeway and 34-miles of rolling coastal hills with a nice curvy road. Close to 500 miles a week! OUCH! But driving the MINI sure makes the time fun.

33 miles each way. That translates to anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour and a half depending on how tied up our wonderful northern VA traffic is on any given morning.

my commute is roughly 60 miles each way, takes me about an hour fifteen to complete. it's about 15 miles of freeway, 40 miles of twisty-curvy mountain roads (HWY 74) and 5 or so of just city streets. The kicker is that I sometimes have to drive yet another 40 or so miles during the course of my day (I support the POS system for a company in OC, CA). I'm usually at about 600 miles a week!

I drive 140 miles back and forth 5 days a week. Few jobs in the world for what I do and I love where I live, so I haven't moved closer.

57 miles each way... or 61 if I take Angeles Forrest Highway in the AM which I have been doing regularly since I got MINI... Too much fun to resist. Now, let's talk about the people who do not use the turn-outs when they have cars stacked behind them forever!!! The drive me nuts!

I live in Los Angeles county, but I work in Orange county. My commute is about
30 to 45 minutes depending on the traffic, about 15 minutes without traffic. I usually take the 91 freeway which is one of the worst freeways in LA  next to the 710 that is, and the 405 when it rains. Some parts of the 405 have lines that
just seem to disappear in the rain :???: total f**kin chaos!

Great thread.....just noticed it.
31 miles each way
95% of it....on the Northern State P'way... on Long Island, NY
As I leave early in the AM & return home late.....there is usually....little traffic.
I average between...70-90 mph...on this wonderful 2 lane...newly paved....P'way.
I must admit...I've pushed the limit to.... 110+ on occassion.
I enjoy the hell outa my MCS...every day

I'm in and out of my car all day long. I kind of work in the surrounding areas and a bit from home. During the course of a day, I may meet with up to 6-8 different clients all within a 7-15 minute drive from my house. Many days start at 5:30am and don't end until 10pm. But a lot of those days have a lot of downtime throughout also so I'm never working straight through.

 Takes about 20-40 minutes to drive from home in West L.A. to most destinations in L.A....longer in Santa Monica! But I don't mind in MINIclo!

Cheers!
