Just got a set of BBS RS et45 5x114.3 --- ...i am planning on running adapters 18mm all around which will mean offset will become et27 - wheels are 16x7 and 16x8 ... I could also just redrill but that means i would have to redo the wheels and i think that the 18mm will help the fitment in the front since i would need spacers anyway with the et45 offset


First...will et 27 fit in the front 16x7?????? i am not worried about rear i know that will fit right...

Second i believe the front will fit BUT tire size... i have seen a bunch of people run different tires i was thinking 165/40 up front and 195/40 rear BUT could 165/45 195/45 (205/40) work???? I really need help on the front fitment guys - just need some opinions (mini's are much harder than volk/audi for this) !!!!!!!!!

 

5x114.3's? Have you modded from 4x to 5x?

 

im either redrilling 4x100 then spacing (more likely) or doing adapters 5x114.3>4x100 which will make them et 27 all around...

 

Justa side question. Why would you run such skinny tires on the front and fatter tires on the rear? The mini suffers from under steer as it is, this is only gonna make it worse. It might look better, but drive like sh*t. I'd try to keep similar tires on each end, or maybe even reverse it
