Nice wheels. Live down the street near Pasadena. Have an 05 r53 which they would look nice on but looking to reduce the unsprung weight from my 17in S-lites.

These are actually a bit lighter than the 17" S-Lites.

The R113 are the lightest 18" wheel MINI offers, and they're lighter than most of the 17" wheels.

$650 for the set of wheels itself is a great deal for anyone considering these. I just spent close to $600 to replace ONE (rim only) from the dealer after a nasty pothole.

I would love to pick these up as a spare set, but i just can't swing it right now :(

Yup great deal for someone who have been looking to purchase these new as these are literally new but over half off what the dealership is charging!

Yeh but just because the stealership charges 3 times what they are worth doesnt make your price a good deal and for the money you can get lighter and better wheels BUT your wheelz are in friggin sweet *** shape.

That was really considerate of you to jump on this guys for sale thread and suggest that 1/2 of what Mini charges still isn't a good deal and people can buy "lighter and better wheels" for the same money. Maybe when you put something up for sale everyone can jump on your thread and point out how many better options there are available to them other than the item you are selling. I'm sure you'd appreciate that.

Jeez.

Says the guy with 3 posts...

Now none of us are contributing to this thread other than a bump for the OP (which I am fine with, GLWS).

Let's not criticize anyone or anyone's pricing. If it is fair, they will sell, if not fair, they won't sell. Simple as that.

Ummm...and the number of posts I have on this particular forum is relevant to my point exactly how?

Should we assume from your poorly aimed condescension that, because I have only posted 3 times here that somehow that excuses inappropriate behavior on the part of other members?

As far as my post count goes, I just bought my first mini a couple of months ago. I'm new here. I lurk much more than I post. Always have. By the way, and while I'm on the subject, thanks for providing me with such a wealth of information - this is an excellent forum and has already been a huge help to me in my quest for information while I empty my wallet into my new toy. Having said that, the forums I have been active on over the years (NSX etc.) simply don't tolerate uninvited negative commentary in the classifieds/marketplace section. That's to sell stuff. There are plenty of other threads to post opinions in. Questions about the item offered for sale are of course welcome - even random compliments about how great or how cool an item is or what a great deal it is are fine - unsolicited negativity is not. Posts in someone else's for sale thread should always be made in the "spirit of good faith". While I agree that your last point is the most important one, even though I'm a noob I think most here would agree that nothing is more annoying than putting a nice item up for sale at what you believe is a fair price, only to have some joker who believes everyone is entitled to his opinion sabotage the sales process for you by declaring that your item "sucks" or should be cheaper in their "educated" opinion (note sarcasm there).

So now you have my unsolicited opinion. Do with it what you will.

I'll step down off my soapbox now. I've gone on too long already.

Thanks again for providing such a tremendous resource to the Mini community. You guys help noobs like me way more than you might suspect.

Beautiful wheels. Great price for like new factory Works wheels. I'm sure somebody's gonna be ecstatic to get 'em for half off.

And now the OP has yet another free bump.

Have a great weekend

If the price is not right for you simply don't buy them. If you're in the market to buy these wheels new you can expect yourself to save over half over what they cost new.

These wheels and tires are new. I've seen advertisement for wheels and tires claiming they're in immaculate shape only to find out the seller's definition is not the same as what I had in mind. You can put these back in the showroom and they'd pass off as new.

I have sold other wheels to buyers on this forum for high dollar and they've only had a big smile months after the purchase.

Yes you can purchase lighter wheels, better is subjective and an opinion. Your taste may be different than others on this forum.

Your wheels are stunning. I'm lucky that they are not silver, because I would need to explain to my wife why I'm buying ANOTHER set of wheels. Your price is appropriate for the nice tires and good condition.

Have fun,
Mike

I've got the same wheels (except add a red lip) and tires...I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM !!! I also get compliments left and right, if I had a nickel for every time I heard "nice wheels" I could buy this set too.

I can also tell you that I paid WAY more than that for them and may well have given up the red lip if I could have stole a set for the price they are being offered here. Of course I'd immediately have spent the savings on another mod too

What kind of forged wheels did you get? What is the tire set up?
