Extended lug bolts, too long?

I want to add 5mm spacers to my aftermarket wheels. I have the spacers and rings, but the OEM bolts (28mm) are too short. The only bolts I can get asap locally are 53mm, would this be too long?

Second option are 39mm bolts but they have a ball seat, can I safely run a ball seat on cone seat rims?

OEM bolts are usually fine for use with 5mm spacers. Anything bigger than 5mm, then you need longer bolts.

Ebay has a lot of cone bolts in longer lengths.
