Beep and temp flash
This happens in my 03 Mini once in a while. While driving there is a beep that sounds. The only thing that happens is the outside temp reading on the RPM gauge flashes a few times. What is the reason for this?

It's a warning that the temperature outside is low enough for the possibility of wet roads to be icy. Yes, it's annoying.

Yep, happens at 37 deg. Always gives me a moment of panic. Would love to be able to disable/deprogram that.

Ok I thought it may have been along those lines. Always goes off around 3 degrees celsius. Thanks guys!

Yes, the little temp warning. It caught me off guard the first time I heard it. I'd like to be able to say that I didn't freak out.
