I just traded in my 2013 countryman for a 2013 countryman. I made the mistake of buying the first one of the lot. I drove it for a couple of months and it drove me crazy that I didnt order one. I went back to the dealer and ordered one. Now I am happy. I got every option in the new one.The black one is the new one. More pics to come.
Ouch! That had to hurt the pocket book. Glad you're happy now. They both look great to me, but I know the lounge leather is a sweet $2K upgrade. Comfy!
Yes it did lol. Actually not bad. The manager worked with me so after it was all said and done it was the same as buying the car at full msrp . So I actually lost whatever the discount off msrp would have been.
not that bad a deal. I once traded a loaded one year old Element to get back into MINI after a brief, foolish period where we thought we needed a larger car than our R53 and upsized for the baby. Yeesh. So getting back into a MINI meant a big hit thanks to depreciation in the first year.
Oh well, it worked out in the end!
More likely swirl marks. Darker cars really show them. Even my Royal Gray one has visible swirl marks right now after three trips to the dealer since the last exterior detail. If the weather forecast holds up, I will be claying polishing and waxing it next Saturday to fix the mess.
John, as I have an AB on order, tell me more about the ominous 'care' comment... are you referring to detailing to avoid water spots?
My opinion. There is no greater color for certain modes of transportation than black. It comes at a price. The paint shows swirls and MUST be cared for with micro fiber towels. I personally use Adam's products and get great results.
Having said this I will be getting all silver for my next Countryman in January when my lease expires.
