Just Informing the CM community about Two Recall Campaigns....Sun Visor Replacement, Timing Chain Tensioner Gasket Leak Issue

If going in for service with your Countryman, inquire about these Recall Campaigns

I received a call from my dealer advising a recall for the Sun Visors and it should take about 1 hour. I was just going to post asking if anyone received a call or letter from MINI pertaining to this.

Yes, I know I'm not a Countryman but I think it goes to the 2011's.

So I guess if I have a 2012 this wouldn't apply to me.

In the manual All4 CMS, they cause a problematic clutch!

Any word on a rail cupholder recall. The tabs that secure the cupholder to the rail attachment is flimsy!

I think the sun visors problem was with the small door covering the mirror... I had to replace 2 of them because the small door broke twice!

Both sunvisor mirror doors broke on my 2011. They were just replaced by the recall when I had the car in for scheduled service.
