April 18th, Teulpenschau!!! Directions and details?
Here's the info from PDXMINI.com website:
"Teulpenschau!!! Back road tour through Estacada to Monitor and the tulip fields. Meet-up at noon at Estacada Fred Meyer. $5/person entry fee. For further details, RSVP by 4/11/04"
Where is Estacada Fred Meyer? Does anyone have the address or direction? For some reason, I wasn't able to find it when I did a search on both Yahoo yellow page nor MSN yellow page.
Since we're meeing at noon, does that mean lunch is not part of the run?

There was an attachment to one of the emails the other day:
OK, the name is German, not Dutch, but it was as close as we could get. But since we have TwoLips right here in Orygun, let’s test out our driving mettle while searching for those petals. This will be a back road tour through Estacada to Monitor and the tulip fields, about 55 miles of “interesting” roads. The first stop will be the tulip fields for viewing, photo ops, and visiting the vendor booths (crafts, food, flowers), then onto the Mt Angel Brewing Company for a delightful mid-afternoon luncheon. We should be arriving at the fields around 2:00 PM, where the bulb company will graciously waive the usual $5 entry fee and provide designated parking for our MINIs. They will also be advertising our cruise-in through their media sources, so let’s make it a good turn out (Corvette Club, you’re sooo yesterday). The Mount Angel Brewing Company will be seating us in our own area for an off-the-menu lunch beginning at 3:30. It’s so important to let us know if you are going to participate as the free parking passes will be handed out at the beginning of the tour, and also to notify the restaurant how many will be dining.
DATE: Sunday 18 April 04
TIME: 12:00 Noon First Car Out: 12:30 PM
MEET UP: I-205 Exit 12 - Hwy 212/224 East - Estacada. East side of I205 make right at the light, 82nd Dr. Turn right into the Fred Meyer parking lot. Again, FRS/GMRS Radios really help. Ch 7/21.
DESTINATION: Wooden Shoe Bulb Company in Monitor at approximately 2:00 PM, then on to the Mt Angel Brewing Company in Mt Angel at 3:30 PM.
The $5.00 entry fee will be strictly enforced.

Anyone from the Vancouver/North Portland Area want to meet at Best Buy and caravan down south?

Danke, Mike!
I thought it's the Fred Meyer in Estacada, which doesn't exist. It's actually the Fred Meyer in Clackamas.

If it's in Klackamas, I'll meet you there at Fred Meyer Parking lot.
