There are so many posts of people selling runflats and S Lites, but has anyone ever unloaded them? It's a buyer's market, but not sure if there are any buyers. I guess it's only seems worth it when you are actually having to replace a runflat $$$?

Yep, sold mine back in February for $810 for the set with runflats on Ebay. Too heavy and the runflats ride like ****.

When I wore out my first pair of runflats on the front of my MINI, I picked up 2 s-lites with almost new tires on them for $100. I kept one of the wheels and one old tire for use as a spare and gave another away to a friend for the same purpose.

I upgraded to R-90's when I first got the MINI, and sold my new, unused S-Lites for $400.

You are right that good condition tires are worth more than the wheels on the used market, but I do see people sell them often and they always seem to sell on ebay, but the prices seem to be dropping rapidly.

Funny that the special wheels only available on the sports package for the S are about the least desireable wheels to many people.

One good thing is that they fit on other makes of cars, so Honda people might buy them. If you do list them on ebay, make a note that they fit on Hondas and other cars with 4x100 bolts.

I don't think they are a bad looking wheel either, and I wouldn't mind picking up a white set for dirt cheap for a silly project I have in mind.

I doubt that I'll actually ever drop the dough for a set of aftermarket wheels...despite the weight problems with the stock SLites...so I'll be buying more SLites eventually on an as-needed basis to replace damaged, curb-rashed, wheels. I love a buyer's market.

Yes, I sold mine a while ago...

Here's the thread... The buyer was even nice enough to post a pix of his car with them on!

I just purchased a used set with tires for $400. I think they look awesome for a factory Alloy wheel....

I agree they're nice looking wheels. Heavy but nice. That's why I'm wondering why more folks aren't looking to buy them. I now have TWO sets of S Lites, as opposed to those who upgraded for aftermarket. Was going to sell the black powdercoated ones, but now I guess I'll put some Kumhos on them and use for autox. OR, sell them to a Honda person or Dubber.
