Countryman Cake!

I haven't been keeping up much with my MINI blog this past year, but tomorrow is my birthday, and tonight, my mom made a cake replica of my Countryman that I just had to share. The level of attention to detail is unbelievable, and the cake tasted great too!

I threw in one photo of the real MINI for the sake of comparison.

That is fantastic! I really dig the knife sport antenna. Where can I get one of those? Honestly, there's love in every bite of that cake.

What a thoughtful cake for your birthday! It's adorable. I love how accurate she made it, even down to the bumper lights

If you're trying to imagine what the cake tastes like, think of it this way: the person who put all that attention into making the fondant details of my car (from one photo, no less), has been tweaking the cake and frosting recipes for years to make the frosting rich and light and to make the cake dense and moist. It was a VERY DELICIOUS cake.
