I just got my Mini S last week and want to get new tires and wheels. I read alot of posts but have not heard much on this combo . Will it work?

My color is Black/Black The wheels will be black forged rims that are powder coated over the entire center and chrome on the lip.
Also thinking about ultra performance summer tires , any feed back on traction and cornering are my biggest concerns. I like the look of the BF Goodrich 215/35/18

I don't foresee a problem with that combo. I'm using 205/40/18 and lovin' it.

A coilover is a shock or strut mounted in the middle of the spring. So all MINIs have coilovers. There are adjustable coilovers that you can change ride height with, they usally have a threaded lower spring perch. Usally when someone posts they have coilovers they mean adjustable coilivers, not to be confused with adjustable shock. An adjustable shock will have the ability to change the rebound or dampening.

Could you guys post any pictures of your 18" wheels. I'm a 'bigger is better' fan of wheels since I don't AutoX, and I haven't seen hardly any 18" wheels on the MCS (in particular) yet.

Thanks! As for the brakes, I upgraded to Zimmermann cross drilled/slotted rotors, Mintex pads, and painted caliper. I'll consider JCW big brake kit when they're available.
