Been reading some threads on here about the coolant leak issues. Problem is my thermostat and gasket was replaced last year at dealer under warranty with new part numbers. No coolant under coolant reservoir or on it. When I did the last oil change there was a buildup of dry coolant on the bottom of a/c ompressor(or what looked like the a/c compressor) on the right(passenger) side of car. Noticed a thread referring to the oil filter housing leaking coolant also. Anyway called the dealer and he said thermostat again. Any ideas? Only place I see it is where I mentioned above. Where is the water pump on this engine?

 

Water pump is on the us passanger side, the belt side...either belt driven on the non s, or driven through the sc on the s. On the s, the tank tends to leak around the seam...easy fix.

 

My guess is water pump
