Shock and spring set ups

Hi all, I'm new to the forum and mini's. I have a 2002 MCS and I'm looking to upgrade shocks and springs. I'm leaning towards Koni yellows with TSW springs. Anyone have any experience with these? I'm also wondering if anyone knows a place to buy the Koni's either locally or somewhere in the PNW. My current shocks are blown and I need a replacement set ASAP. Thanks for any and all help. I have about $1000 to spend on the set up if that helps narrow suggestions down.

So I ordered Koni yellows today. I will install them next week. I am still undecided on springs. I read several posts on the gen 1 suspension forum and I think I will get a set of the TSW springs. I think that I already have H & R springs on the car with stock shocks. Any way to tell? do they have a H & R label on them?

What color are your springs the stock spring are black, I had the H&R's on my 03 and I'm pretty sure they were blue.

I like the Koni's had them with the H&R's on my 03. I hear the TSW springs are good but it may be tough to get them I get the impression they are out of stock often.

I talked to Way Motor Works today and they are having some made. The last batch was made wrong, the wire size was too big. They should have some in the next week or two. What are you using now? My springs look dark blue, definitely dirty. The ride is very harsh and I hit the bump stops going over railroad tracks or any other big bump. I know the shocks are stock. The car sits a little lower than stock. Maybe they are stock springs but then they are sagging. I am probably about 3/4" lower than stock, as compared to other MCS I have seen. Any other suggestions on springs? I looked at your gallery and my '02 MCS looks as low as the pictures of your '05. I hav about a 1/2" gap betwen tires and wheel arch. Running 17" rims with 205/45/17.
