Coolant Sensor Leak: Change Housing or just the gasket

My car started leaking a few ounces of coolant a day so I noticed some coolant on the housing. I following the instructions on this site to get to my coolant housing thinkin I would just replace it. I got the sensor on top and immediately noticed its leaking from right there. Took out the sensor and the gasket looked worn and coolant had seeped through. My question is has anyone simply changed out the gasket or does someone typically replace the entire housing. I have no error codes, so my sensor should be working fine. I was thinking to just replace the gasket and try it out for a few days. Any comments?

We just talked about the thermostat leaking in another thread under R56.

Make sure the thermostat housing does not have additional leaks. Or leaking between the housing and the water pipe. The pics show the locations great. You can see the clip and sensor of these pics.

Thermostat Housing OEM part number 11537534521

Water Pipe: OEM part number 11537589713

We have the coolant to do the job. OEM MINI Coolant recommended: 82140031133

If everything else looks fine: Here is the gasket itself. Make sure the sensor were it sealed to is not damaged on the seat.

Hope that helps and let me know if you need anything else.
