So I've had my HIDs in for a month and hate them. Yes, they are bright but have a really bad light pattern. It actually makes a funny pattern on the ground that I don't like. Ok, Ok everyone was right. It was an expensive mistake but you live and learn.

Are PIAA headlights better than phillips xtrem. They are more expensive!

I have in my cart on Amazon the Phillips headlights and PIAA fogs. The fogs are more expensive. I just don't want to install them and have the fogs brighter than my headlights.

What does everyone think??
I want to ask the experts before I purchase. You see I learn..

Did you have factory Xenon or an aftermarket kit??

 

I installed PIAA Xtreme White Plus Headlight (4000K), Fog, Parking Bulb in September, love the brightness, they have a very clean profile on the ground. H13 for Headlights, H8 for Fogs, 5 W 5 for Parking Bulb.

I also bought replacement bulbs for my Husband's 2010 Kia Soul "SMAUG" SE#3 Shadow Dragon, we took him on a 2 week Vacation, did a lot of night driving and was very impressed with the visibility.

 

we have xenon factory, but just put the piaa h8 white fogs in along with the piaa white parking lamp bulbs. Look great, much whiter than stock, matches factory xenon well. so if the mains are the same color then I think you're good. h8 is brighter than stock fog bulb too.

 

I ordered PIAA both low/high bulbs and fogs from tire rack. I'm just going to rip out the HID kit and them in.

Is replacing the fog bulbs difficult? Can I just turn the tires to one side to another or totally take them off.

Fog bulbs are behind the same plastic piece as the parking light bulbs. The lower one in front of the wheels. Just turn the wheel to reach it. An easy job.
