Neuspeed 19" RSe14 Wheels in Gunmetal on a Silver CM?

I have been in love with these wheels in gunmetal ever since I first saw a picture of Flyer53's (Flyer, are you still around?) car two years ago. I have seen pictures of the wheels on dark colored CM's as well as white CM's.

When we ordered our black 2012 CM, the plan was to buy these wheels to use with summer tires. But we started to have electrical issues with the car, and we never bought the wheels because the long-term viability of the car was questionable.

BMW replaced the 2012 with a silver 2013. It has a black roof and black bonnet and boot stripes. We are not sure how gunmetal colored wheels would look with this car. Does anyone have a picture of them on a silver CM? Thanks.

If you post up a side shot of your car, someone might be able to photoshop the wheels in for you. Otherwise, maybe email Jerry at NM to see if he has any photos he can share.

In my personal opinion, I think the gunmetal would look pretty good. But I think silver would too. Decisions, decisions.

I personally think the NM wheels RSe14 wheels are the best looking countryman wheel available.
If you want a set we'll send them over.

Hujan, what wheels and tires did you end up putting on your car? It's been a while and I can't recall, thanks.

Originally I went with Beyern Bavaria 19 x 8.5 et40. I liked the look and weight (21 lbs.) of the wheels a lot and they worked great when I was running the NM springs.

The only problem is that I wanted to go really low. When I got the coils (KW v3), I knew the were going to rub a bit too much for my liking. I got a sweet deal on the NM RSe14 wheels in black and went with those. That's what I've got on there now. The Bavarias are boxed up in my garage (with custom MINI center caps) waiting for a good home for a cheap price.

Tires have been 245/40/19 the whole time. I will go with something narrower though, probably 235/40/19, when these wear out.

My two favorite wheels on the Countryman are the NM RSe14 and the OZ Superturismo LM. Only problem with the OZ wheels is that they come in a pretty aggressive fit (19 x 8.5 et45) which might make it tough to go really low like I enjoy doing. However, they also make an 18 x 7.5 et48 which is pretty darn close to the OEM fitment (18 x 7.5 et52) and would fit very well.

I may give in and go with the OZ Superturismo LM someday. But I can tell you that the NM wheels are very, very well made. Exceptional quality and style.

Thanks Hujan. Do you think it's safe to say that I will get no rubbing with the NM wheels and 245/40 tires? I have the standard factory suspension and will not be modifying it.

With that setup I would be shocked if you had any rubbing on a factory suspension. Heck, even with the NM springs, I doubt you would have any rubbing. I rub very, very little as it is and I'm lowered on KW v3 coilovers beyond where the NM springs put me.

I think you would be very happy with that setup.
