I heard about how the diverter valves go bad and I thought that might have been the source of my limp mode warning light when I get to 5,000 RPM.

So I took the diverter valve out to inspect it and it fell apart in my hands.







I have just ordered the alta diverter valve online and its going to take at least two days. This is my only ride to work. Can I install just the housing with out the valve?

Sorry nobody responded to your question. I hope you were able to fix the issue. I just replaced my valve cover due to vacuum leak. Codes still present and CEL light and reduced power light with ccid 0029 still on. Someone suggested I check my diverter valve, but I am not familiar with this part. Where is this located? What is its function?
