Am I not supposed to have a MINI?

Mini #1---- a car drove onto it in a parking lot when a guy hit gas instead of brakes

Mini#2---- got trashed at Port of Baltimore and had to be re-ordered

Mini #3---- someone backed into passenger door in parking lot when it was less than two months and 500 miles old

Each time, I was not in the car and no one got hurt. But really!

I thought I had it bad. My car is two months old and I was rear ended on Friday.

Maybe "4th" times a charm in your case.

Car #2

89 year old guy pulling into spot in next lane that was four feet higher. Chain link fence separated the two lanes. He hit gas hard, instead of brake. Went through fence landing on my hood and windshield with his Camry.

That will do it.

.....that's some really bad luck.

Been a few times especially around BFT's I thought of installing a orange safety flag in the rear tow hook like some kids bicycles have....

Funny thing about car #2:

I parked in the lower lane because no cars were there. Was trying to avoid door dings!

Wow! You have had it worse that me.

Before I bought my Mini it got into an argument with a deer. After being repaired, I guess the last owner didn't want it any more.

I had it 2 weeks and was driving home on a country back road and a rabbit (the furry kind not the VW kind) ran into the side of my passenger front tire.

I haven't named my car yet, but Christine comes to mind.

Now, if you compare those events with luck cycles (like business cycles) , shouldn't your odds be perking upwards? Go buy a lottery ticket.

M'Cooper asked me about car#2 in my original post. How did it happen? But I see my response was about Car#1. Sorry...

As for Car#2 getting trashed at the port, no one is telling me how that happened. Not even telling my dealership's manager. Just that it happened, that is it.

Trashed? Like it got drunk and got a tattoo?

I suspect poltergeist activity, have you parked on or over some Indian burial ground,

Expect to have mishaps with all future cars, mini or other until the curse is lifted.

I feel your pain. I was rear-ended twice and backed into once in the span of three months last summer. All while sitting still at stop signs or lights.

I was thinking the same thing about the tow hook flag...

Or Nimrod? (in the biblical sense, not the current pejorative sense)

If I put this on. My friends would really give me grief about driving a remote control car.

I think it has something to do with Wisconsin not loving MINIs, have you tried California? =D
