Happy Motoring to all of you out there I would like to take the time to personally thank all the NAM members that have contacted us here at Classic Mini. Ever since I first registered on the forum back when it was MCO it has been a wonderful experience and continues to get better and better. I know it can be tough working with dealerships...I have had my share of experiences with dealerships(sales, service, and parts) that to say the least were so negative that I vowwed never to go back, warranty or no warranty. You know the feeling...going into the parts dept. and the advisors give you the impression that you are a waste of their time and their "oh well attitude" towards your requests! I have had my share of those believe me. I understand what it takes to have an enjoyable relationship with my dealership because I have had so many poor experiences with other dealers. Treating the customer more like a friend is better then treating them like ther're the boss. I like to talk with my customers...just talk, not even about buying parts! So many of my customers call me and we talk about a certain part or an accessory and we end up talking for 15 minutes about an experience they had in Walmart's parking lot with their Mini...now that is what I consider a good relationship.
I think my feelings are shared by all of my associates at Classic Mini and may very well be shared by other Mini dealers. I you have any questions about parts or accessories feel free to give me a call or if it's been a while since we spoke please email me or call just to say hi!

Thanks again!

Brian, If Tom Williams BMW here in Birmingham gets a dealership in the next year or two, please please please move here!

I need to call you soon about ordering my parcel shelf and some other OEM MINI goodies

Everthing I have heard about Classic MINI has been fantastic. I hope that BMW-USA knows how well you treat and support the MINI community and can use Classic as an example for how all MINI dealers should treat their customers and motoring friends.

I have ordered several parts from Classic in the last year, and it has been nothing but a great experience. You guys are great giving us low prices and great customer service. Because it has been such a pleasure dealing with the parts department, I have placed an order for a new Mini at your dealership. Even though it is 10 hour drive, the experience I have had and the great price on the Mini makes it worth it. Keep up the good work.

Just want to second the thumbs up for the job you have been doing. I've got a dealer less than a 5 minute drive from my front door and yet I've ordered a parcel shelf, aux jack and spare tire all from you. This is do to your discount on prices but more importantly your service! Keep doing a bang up job!!

You guys are first rate. The ordering experience from you and deliveries of orders has been first class. Keep showing the rest of the dealerships how to do it!

Is this Classic Mini in Mentor Ohio? I think there might be another in CA that goes by the same name...

Thumbs up to Classic from us way out here on the "Peninsula." Our IB/W MCS is still under King George's skies, but my gawd, I'm ready to have Julie move in with us out here, she's been a great communicator.

Also, thanks to their step-son on the left coast, Chief Charlie...

Aloha from the "GIVE JULIE A RAISE CLUB" President,
Jason

Can we all email MINIUSA and ask that Classic Mini Train all other dealerships on how to sell, maintain and meet all customer needs? The guys get the big "shout-out!!" Oh and could we get them to start right away in California???

Second place goes to MINI of the Hamptons!

Between Julie, Brian and Kris... I'm damned lucky to have Classic as my dealership. And club sponsor, teehee. And no, this isn't a shameless plug, I am happy with how I've been treated. I had issues with the service dept. before Kris got there, but she seems to have ironed things out. Besides, she's fun to shoot the sh*t with.

My MINI is merely a week old, and based on all of the feedback here on the forum, I went straight to ClassicMINI to order my Aux input and parcel shelf. I can honestly say that my experience was absolutley everything I had expected it to be. Great job guys!

I'll never order OEM parts from anywhere else; Classic is great!

And yes, they're in Ohio. I've yet to hear of a California dealer that doesn't treat customers like scum.

I just wish y'all were closer!

Then I also need to throw in props for Jared! He's my MA and I've already been kinda a pain. YOu know, "Is it in produciton yet?" a day later, "is it in production yet?" And he has been just so very great to work with. Both with buying the car and everything.

I also like the fact that they lock the doors in the showroom when a car is "going home." Keeps kids with cheezy poof hands out of the interior. Too bad they can still paw the outside though...

But yeah, I live an hour away from Classic, and they are just wonderful...

Thanks for all the ncie compliments! You all are far to kind. A business is only as good as their customer relations, in my opinion. I hear story after story about bad experiences with other dealers and that is very unfortunate. One bad dealer can ruin it for the other dealers. I have been criticized by other dealers for my methods and apparently some dealers don't care for us here at Classic; I have even gotten a call from another dealer telling me that I am wrong for doing what I am doing and that I am trying to make the other dealers look bad. I told him that I have never degraded another dealer in specific and that according to some of my clients...certain dealers need no help to look bad, they are doing it ok on their own.
Anyway...summer is up and comming! I am considering doing some combos at an attractive price package but I am looking for some input from the owners! What kind of packages would you all like to see and would be interested in? These would be accessories from MINI...we don't deal with aftermarket items from warranty reasons.

Thanks again
Brian Flick

Hmm.. Packages of what sort?

Perhaps a chrome package for the MCS? (Grill top/bottom, bezel replacement, etc.) Sets of installed aftermarket mods that are relatively warranty-friendly might be nice (e.g., intake, sway bars). You might look at this thread for an indication of what people want first.

Or how about a fat price break for the humble folks who've just ordered a Mini from Classic? (I'm working with Julie now to put together an MCS for me -- she's been top notch throughout!)

I'd love to see a good price on a grill package, like a bonnet and bumper chrome slat set. Or those plus the chrome bumper inserts. That plasti-chrome gets pretty dinged up.

Full colour interior packages.

For example...

For a green interior...

Green steering wheel, green shift **** and boot, and green e-brake boot. Maybe even green floormats.

I have the blue interior... so the same combo... too bad Mini stiffed us Lapis blue-ers... can't get a Lapis blue wheel, or door panels and such.

Another idea would be a trade-in system for interior panels. Someone with Anthracite who wants the Alloy Patina could trade (I wish I had known about anthracite when I ordered, I like its look SO much better)...

A lighting package of Rally/Front/Rear fog lights - $650 or so?

Travel package: Boot box, cup holder, MINI luggage (I love mine!) and the Cool Box (also love mine!)

Storage kit - Indoor and Outdoor covers

Maintenence kit - MINI spec detailing products, oil & coolant fluid, touch-up paint, etc.

Style package: Bonnet stripes & roof flag

Winter wheel package: Set of 15" holeys with ContiTouring tyres (the stock stuff, good in the snow!)

Replacement black plastic trim package

Replacement tach and speedo gauge clear plastic

Special deals for local Mini clubs, say in Northeastern Ohio... (Hint hint hint)

Hi, Brian - you could start by being as kind to those of us in NE Ohio as you are to the west coasters...seems you offer them more perks (and even $$$ OFF MSRP) and get their vehicles delivered to your location faster than for those of us in your own backyard. How about free or HIGHLY discounted clear bras for your NE Ohio patrons to compensate for the west coasters getting $$$ off MSRP?
