Cosmic blue is my choice. Stay away from any arrest me red colors. I would get what the wife wants unless you plan on sleeping in it. LMFAO!!

tough call, I got A cosmic blue and luv it, although I did not plan on the blue. I also like the red the only thing is you kinda have to be a red car person to get it,(if that makes sense). I think you can customize a red real easy, ie black roof, stripes, tint,mirror caps, red interior accents ect. and make it look real personalized, vs the cosmic blue which kinda limits the customizing unless you go with white accents. (i do not like that combo). If the wife likes blue than BLUE IT IS ....lol have fun. So I guess my vote is red and customize it, good luck. To get her to switch google RED countryman pics and show her all the fun you can have customizing it.

 

Red with black roof, especially if you get the sunroof.

Thanks for replies everyone. My company name is Redcar! so yes possibly should be red, but the cosmic blue in the showroom with polar beige looked stunning.

How do you think polar beige would go with blazing red?? a no no? or a go go??

red with black roof, striping & trim... nice looking but black roofs attract heat.
blue with white roof & striping... nice looking, and doesn't heat up like a black roofed oven.

it's ultimately your decision, look through the cosmic blue thread, and the pure red (it's kinda close for combinations) to see what YOU want to do with your car.

 

Not seen a blazing red in the flesh as such, but did see a pure red, which put us on the red initially. obv. pure red now replaced with blazing red.

The dealer had this beauty in the showroom which made us go wow! had polar beige gravity leather, looked lovely. I would prefer a black roof though with black anthracite turbo fan wheels though if we go down the blue route.

not felling the chrome package either. Unless they can give you a great deal on that mini I would wait and get what you want. I got my cosmic blue because it was at the dealer and they gave me a great deal. This is the only way you can really negotiate with mini. The red vs the blue are two totally different looks, really comes down to what you want. My vote still red w/ black top as well, tint,black mirror caps, black stripes, and possibly some red interior touches.

 

This thread brings back memories. My partner wanted Cosmic Blue with black and I wanted Red with black, but he said that would make it look like a blood clot. We settled on Royal Gray with black, I think I lost.
