Which Focals?

Looking into getting a set of focals to replace the front speakers in my 09 clubman. Its just a base stereo fyi.

So these 5 1/4"

or these 6 3/4"

thanks for the advice!

My initial gut reaction would be to go for the bigger speakers, but in this case, the 5 1/4"s are much
more efficient than the 6 3/4" ones, so I'd go with the smaller ones given a choice between these two.

It would be a real shame to take speakers that nice and power them off the factory head unit's 15w amplifier. Make sure you grab the adapter and at least a small amp to power those things. Also, those cut off below 80 hz according to the spec's. So, unless you plan on relying on the rear 6x9s for bass, I'd think about a small sub.

Balance is key, wouldn't you agree?

Dave,

What kind of mini did you put these in? According to crutchfield the only focals that will fit in the doors of my R53 are these
