Hi. We just changed my oil today and tried the recommended instructions for resetting the oil interval but when I press in the trip rest button in and then put the key in the ignition to position one 'rest' does not appear... 'test' comes up.

Any suggestions on how to proceed or other methods?

 

NEVER mind... my smarter than me husband did it. Clearly car maintenance isn't my thing.

 

the procedure can be very sensitive to the 'speed' of the presses - the time 'tween them - it often takes me 6 or 8 tries and other times I get it first time out.
