Really want one of these , however I dont know of any USA sites that sell them does anybody know where I can find one?

Check the Bavauto catalog. I know I saw the overlay in there, but I threw the catalog in the trash.

I agree about making my own. A piece of vinyl is soo
Cheap. I personally would use reflective vinyl make it stand out from all the off the shelf stuff. Trace, sizors, peel and stick. But I'm sure they are on eBay, if you need the entire emblem

These are the pictures from Coopersport. It shows the "s" on the front of the car as well as the back of the car not just on the scuttle. Coopersport.com. Its under "Cooper Mini Cooper", then "R56 2007+ Mini Cooper".

I sent an Email to "outmotoring" in hopes that they can find a way to start selling this product I hope it works out I really want one! Heres another photo, but again I have only found these via a japanese vendor so far, NONE here in the U.S. " that I know about"

I would check the conversion from Yen to Dollars. I ran it for the S emblem and in dollars it came out to like $600 US for them. Not sure if I did it right nor not but DAMN!! The GP rear spoiler would cost almost $20k. LOL

3990Y = $46.20

3150Y = $36.47
