I've had a set of BFG G-Force Sport tires on my R53 mini for about 12,000 miles now. I rotate them every 5000 miles, and keep the pressure right at 36psi. They tread on them still looks like new, they are very sticky and handle great.....but I've noticed that over the last 5000 miles or so, they have started to get pretty loud. I can hear a lot more road noise than I used to when they were new.

Is this normal for tires in general...or are the G-force tires just louder than most??


Any info would be great!

 

In these last 5000 miles would you say the ambient temps have been dropping? My Conti DWS have been getting loud as the temps have been dropping below 40* I read somewhere that high-po all seasons will do this.
