Tip for R56 owners...

Not sure if anybody has said this before....

We all know the dipstick on the R56 sucks, so I have come up with a foolproof method of using it and getting an accurate reading.

Note: This may only work if you have HIDs

Check your oil at night! With the headlights on, hold the dipstick right in front of the headlight and the oil level/mark is as clear as day. The same dipstick viewed under sunlight/indoors is almost completely un-readable.

Figure out where the add line and the full line are at and drill a small hole through each point. If both holes have oil in them when you check it, you're good

I have been using a really bright LED flashlight (in the garage) for quite a while.
