07S Brake Pads

Where is a good source for rear pads?
Has anyone used a particular brand type over any other?

That's easy. EBC redstuff pads They are low dust, great bit, and quiet. can't go wrong with them.

I'm currently running Akebono Euro pads front and rear on my 07 R56. So much cleaner than the OEM ones and the sensors fit on both. I bought both front and rear from amazon. The EUR1204 (front), and EUR1309A (Rear) are what you are looking for.

I'll give WAY a plug on this

I shopped the web prices - you've got to look at the price WITH shipping to get the big picture -

I've been a fan of EBC green but on WAY & NAM recommendations went with red this time around - I replaced f & r at the same time. Red is less dust then the green. I think the green perform a bit closer to OEM, the reds can grab a little IME, but that's not terrible and less dust IS good. The small cost difference is OK by me.

WAY shipped the same day .... can't argue about that.

(I did not change rotors and have run these a couple of thousand miles now and all is well)

On the other hand, if you just want 'plain' pads .... check your local chain parts store. Several years ago I got in a pinch needing pads for my 02-S (was son's car by then and he was leaving for school the next day when I discovered his pads were GONE.) Not wanting to drive an hour to the dealer I decided to take a wild chance and hit AutoZone altho I'd always bought EBC pads via web up 'til then. I was very surprised when my local AZ had 3 different pads on the shelf, and rotors too.
