Mini tuning Day in S.E Wisconsin

Hello fellow Wisconsinites. I'm trying to put together a Mini tuning day with CS Motorsports in Landon, WI. Have you ever wondered what your Mini is truly putting down? Or perhaps wanting to eek out more horses out of that 1.6L? We need at least 10 owners wanting to do this to make it happen. Reply to this if you're interested!

OH yes, this sounds excellent.

What do you have planned? Are you thinking discounted dyno runs? Discounted shop time? Access to tools and such? Just a get to know over a cold pop or two? Q & A with rel MINI fanatics?

Also, did you mean Lannon, WI?

Yes lannon wi, that link is correct. Chris, the owner said we actually just need 5 at a go. So do we have 3 so far?

It'll be 3 runs at least for A/F tune and he's looking into ecu access via Cobb software. So no go for those with N18 engines :(

This does sound like fun.

What sort of cost will be involved? I'd love to be able to get a new air filter and exhaust in beforehand, but Christmas might get in the way.

Keep me posted, if nothing else, I might try to stop by and check the place out.

Thanks,

John

Nope just 2wd. He specializes in racing Porsches but did have a mini tuning day with an official mini tuner last year.

It's 125 for 3 runs and 25 for each addl run. He's checking on ECU tune cost as a package. 125 gets you A/F changes as well.

Ok, mark me down for a Maybe, depending a lot on when it happens. It sounds like a lot of fun and a good learning experience!

Date/Time is really up to you guys. I'm open to whenever except 3rd/4th week of December(holiday travel). So if we sort it out and get 5 guys asap, we might be able to squeeze in early December if it works out for everyone, if not definitely January.

If anyone need help or just want to get together for mod meetings, I'm up for that too. I've done coilover changes, oil changes, cold air intake installation, quad light installations, carbon fiber splitter install, 3rd light install(and a few other mods) before so if you need help, holler. :D

I might be interested depending on the date and cost. Most weekends are good, I just need to plan in advance a bit.

I'm (foolishly?) prepping my car for STX class in autocross next season.
