'10 MCS Blew oil everywhere

I bought a CPO '10 MCS in July and it is due for an oil change in 1000 miles, I was going to take it in this coming weekend. My clutch started to slip last weekend and I was going to have them look at that while it was in. I also started to notice one drop of oil in the morning on the right side of the engine. Another item to look at when it was in for service. Over the week the clutch slip became worse and while I was on my way home from grocery shopping I noticed a drop in power, not much but still noticeable. When I got home it had a rough idle and a small knock so I looked under the car and saw this.

While I was under it today I noticed a drip of blueish oil coming out of the flywheel housing.

If it's a CPO car, have the dealer come get it, rather than have them 'possibly' say "You made the damage worse by driving it, and the warranty won't cover it."

No, but I've worked with their sister dealership Mini of Austin (both Penske Group), and been generally pleased. Call the salesman you bought it from, and tell him it's on the way in.

Are you in San Antonio?

I'm in-between SA and Austin. Flipped a coin to decide where to go for warranty service (car was bought in North Texas, and I moved here a couple of years ago).

I imagine they'll take good care of you. I met MINI-SA's sales manager a few weeks ago, and he seemed like a straight-forward fellow.

They have been pretty good to work with. I don't feel like anything that went wrong was due to my negligence.
