Help picking color for viper stripes!!
I need help or pix of your Lightning Blue MINI with stripes. I want to get mine added but I am in a dilemma trying to figure out what color. I think i want them to pop.
I thought of 2 options:
Flat black--all the way down the front and black
White--all the way down the front, back, and roof
Thoughts??

For application purposes kinda helps to know if the roof/mirror caps are body color, white or black before offering an opinion. I am guessing black from the format of your poll but that would be just a guess.

I have flat black, with reflective orange trim. Also there are ghost flames in the bonnet stripes, and the vinyl on the top. I've always thought white stripes on the bonnet and boot, and body color stripes on top would look great. Maybe someday....
I kinda like the vote for silver/gray. Lightning blue is pretty dark, so the black would get lost (unless being subtle is what you like), and white would be very dramatic.
Go to home depot and get a roll of black and white electric tape and layout the flat black to see if you like it. It will cost you $4 per color and give you a good idea if you like it. Layout one color, and drive it for a couple of days, so that you can see it when you are not expecting it (and you can get your friends opinions if you want. Then remove it and put another color on it to see what you like. Even though there are seams, and the stripes may not be even or straight, it is better than spending the money on the wrong color stripes.
You may find that black is too subtle and white is too much. Thats where silver and grey are options, or putting a contrasting color between the stripes (orange like the above suggestion may work well).
Have fun,
Mike

I'd have I agree with grey raven. It all depends on the roof. If you have a black roof, then the black stripes will get lost unless you don't plan to continue them up and over the top or you could outline them with white. Also, do you have a sunroof?
If the roof is white the black stripes will look out of place.
I like the silver stripes as a contrast. If the roof is black then consider black stripes on the hood and black stripes with white piping on the roof.
