How do you get behind the grill to unscrew the badges? My car came with one ("Slower Traffic Move Right") and I planned on removing it as I thought it would draw unwelcome attention. Too slow, I'm afraid - someone pried off the badge in a theater parking lot, but the mounting plate is still on the grill, leaving a blank disk.

Why not find an alternative grill badge among the hundreds (perhaps thousands) available from a variety of vendors that makes the statement you wish to make and display it proudly, rather than removing the mount? There are plenty of "conservative" grill badge messages out there that would suit you. And OBTW, no prying necessary -- they're just big refrigerator magnets.
